I cannot believe what I was reading — the editorial board praising President Donald Trump’s policies on the economy and what it has produced (“Stellar jobs report shows Trump is delivering on the economy,” July 6).
Trump is doing what he campaigned on, and as of now, it is working. Obviously, things can change, but let’s hope it continues. Maybe Gov. Wes Moore should read this editorial and stop with blaming Trump for the financial woes that he and the Democrats have created.
Wes should also stop the word salad on what he has done to the citizens of Maryland by taking out over a billion dollars of taxpayer money to so-called change that deficit. Then Wes is telling CNN and MSNBC that he along with the Democrats have turned a deficit into a surplus without ever mentioning those tax and fee hikes, which are the largest in Maryland history.
Wes’ job growth is hiring over 5,000 state employees, and who knows how many federal employees. Now, Wes wants to buy out state employees and institute a hiring freeze. This guy could not operate a lemonade stand.
