The Baltimore City Fire Department is battling a three-alarm fire in the southeastern area of the city’s Baltimore Highlands neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
Four residences on the 3400 block of East Baltimore Street are involved in the fire, the department posted on social media. The block is closed to traffic, the department said.
No injuries have been reported, according to department spokesperson Capt. Dennis Dawson.
Baltimore Police, the city’s Office of Emergency Management and Department of Housing & Community Development, Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. and the American Red Cross are responding, the fire department said on social media.
BCFD is currently on scene at the 3400 block of E. Baltimore St. At this time, there are 3 dwellings involved. The incident has escalated to a third alarm.
